Position: Half-Day Bookkeeper (Sage Experience Required)
Employment Type: Part-Time (Half-Day)
Location: Howick

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a half-day, part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting functions using Sage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and process daily financial transactions on Sage
    Prepare and issue invoices to customers
    Process supplier invoices and payments
    Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
    Assist with basic financial reporting and summaries
    Monitor accounts payable and receivable
    Ensure compliance with company financial procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
    Hands-on experience with Sage accounting software (essential)
    Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    Good organisational and time management skills
    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Remuneration
