About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our boutique beach hotel in Ballito. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for upholding our brand standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences through your culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure our Brand standards are always upheld
- Optimize our brand through your culinary skills
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always of the highest quality
- Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating food cost effectively and on an ongoing basis
- Operate and maintain all department equipment
- Menu adherence and production of the menus set out
- Safe hygiene & Safety practices in the kitchen
- Strong attention to detail
- Keep up to date with international culinary trends
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal culinary qualification
- Proven Culinary experience
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a 4 / 5* Hotel environment
- Excellent English Speaking and Written
- Zulu Speaking and understanding is an advantage (not essential)
