MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should possess one or more of the following recognised IT qualifications: – National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. – Strong MS SQL Server skills (Query writing and DB maintenance) – Strong accounting or actuarial background (advantageous) – Advanced Excel skills (linking sheets to databases, pivots, formulas etc) – Programming skills and qualifications (VBA, C#, ASP.NET, Python etc) (advantageous) – CompTIA A Certification (advantageous). – CompTIA Network Certification (advantageous). – Relevant IT support or systems administration certifications. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS – Minimum of 5-8 years experience in an IT support or IT administration role. – Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365. – Knowledge of networking principles, routers, switches, and wireless systems. – Experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installations. – Exposure to cybersecurity practices and data protection principles. – Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, FMCG, or abattoir environment will be advantageous. – Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment. TECHNICAL SKILLS – Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. – Basic networking and server administration knowledge. – Understanding of cybersecurity best practices. – Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. – Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems. – Knowledge of printers, CCTV systems, VoIP systems, biometric systems, and access control systems will be beneficial. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & KEY ABILITIES The successful candidate should demonstrate the following: – Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. – Ability to manage and control other IT personnel. – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. – Good communication and interpersonal abilities. – Ability to work independently and within a team. – Excellent time management and organisational skills. – Attention to detail and accuracy. – Ability to prioritise urgent operational issues. – Professional conduct and customer-service orientation. – High level of integrity and confidentiality. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS – Valid drivers licence. – Willingness to work after hours, weekends, or standby when operationally required. Note that the abattoir is a 24/7 operation. – Own reliable transport will be advantageous. 2×4 or 4×4 advantageous for farm. – Clear criminal record may be required.

Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality IT support , maintaining cloud environments, and ensuring that systems are secure, stable, and efficient. Alongside day-to-day support, youll gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, and enterprise-grade technologies. Key Responsibilities: Provide first- and second-line IT support to internal users (hardware, software, and cloud-based systems) Manage and support Azure Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Intune environments Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server and Linux systems Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services Monitor systems, alerts, backups, and overall environment health Assist with user access management , permissions, and security controls Support email security and endpoint protection platforms (e.g. Mimecast and Defender) Assist with SharePoint administration and user access Work with IT and security teams to ensure system uptime, performance, and compliance Document support processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Experience: 0-2 years' experience in an IT support / systems support role (IT graduates will be considered) Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (AD) Experience supporting Windows Server environments Exposure to Microsoft Intune Solid troubleshooting and user support skills Basic understanding of cloud environments and networking Advantageous Skills: Experience with Mimecast, FortiGate, or Fortinet Exposure to Linux environments Familiarity with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and LAPS Experience with SharePoint and Jira Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Cloud Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel or SOC environments Basic understanding of KQL (Kusto Query Language) Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate CompTIA Network CompTIA Security Don't miss out, apply today!
