<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>End-User & Technical Support</strong></p><ul><li>Provide first-line support for staff on computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.</li><li>Troubleshoot internet connectivity, network access, and basic Wi-Fi issues.</li><li>Assist users with Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and user account access.</li><li>Log, track, and follow up on support requests, escalating issues where necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Systems, Data & Asset Management</strong></p><ul><li>Create, update, and maintain IT asset inventories (devices, peripherals, licenses).</li><li>Maintain secure and up-to-date databases of system logins, access credentials, and software allocations.</li><li>Assist with archiving digital files and emails in line with organisational policies.</li><li>Support the clean-up and decommissioning of deprecated or unused systems, accounts, and software.</li></ul><p><strong>Documentation & Process Support</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in documenting IT procedures, workflows, and system configurations.</li><li>Source and research information on new tools, systems, or workflows as directed by the IT lead.</li><li>Help improve clarity and organisation of IT records and internal documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>General Support Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with setting up workstations, user accounts, and devices for new staff.</li><li>Support routine IT maintenance tasks and audits.</li><li>Perform other reasonable IT-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Competencies</strong></p><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows and common office software.</li><li>Basic knowledge of internet, networking, and connectivity troubleshooting.</li><li>Practical experience or familiarity with <strong>Microsoft 365</strong> (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).</li><li>Experience with macOS, CLI, remote and cloud software is a plus.</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate records and inventories using spreadsheets or databases.</li></ul><p><strong>Personal & Professional Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Good communication skills and a helpful, service-oriented attitude.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.</li><li>Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and workflows.</li><li>Good organisational and time-management skills.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Please consider your application unsuccessful should you not receive a response within 2 weeks of applying.</strong></p>
