Aspire Recruiting is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality and Food Safety Coordinator on behalf of a reputable client operating in the FMCG sector. This role is vital for driving quality awareness and ensuring uncompromising food safety standards across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Management: Enable all departments to comply with HACCP, PRP, and ISO 22000:2018 standards by effectively coordinating activities. Safety Interventions: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly value-added interventions with personnel, leading Quality Awareness and Food Safety Talks. Programme Coordination: Coordinate GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and PRP Control by implementing, maintaining, and reporting on the effectiveness of the company’s programmes. CCP Monitoring: Rigorously review all Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring and verification records to ensure strict compliance with HACCP critical limits and frequencies. Equipment Reporting: Monitor, interpret, and accurately report on IMTE (Inspection, Measuring and Testing Equipment) results. Documentation: Continually monitor and maintain all essential system documentation to audit-ready standards. Requirements & Qualifications: Education: A B.Sc or National Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science will be highly advantageous. Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, with a strong focus on food safety. System Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge in ISO 22000 and 22002, HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP. Industry Knowledge: Prior knowledge of the grain milling industry will be highly advantageous. Abilities & Competencies: Demonstrated resilience and the ability to effectively cope with pressure. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. High level of accuracy with a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently while remaining assertive when enforcing safety standards. Strong time management and organisational skills

Education & Experience: National Senior certificate or equivalent to NQF4. B.SC or National Diploma in Food Technology of Food Science. Knowledge in ISO 22000 and 22002, HACCP, VACCP and TACCP. Experience in Grain Milling is an advantage. Valid RSA driver's license with own transport. Experience in Internal Audit requirements will be advantageous. Responsibilities: Ensure that the Management system documentation is documented and maintained according to the requirements of document in data control. Ensure compliance to laid down standards regarding product and service quality, food safety, standard operation procedures such as findings, CPA register and records as well as other manufacturing related requirements. Ensure that the requirements of the HACCP and ISO 22000 systems are maintained. Conduct Internal Audits monthly. Ensure key production quality control points are monitored according to Quality Control Plan. Monitor the stock levels of the chemical and cleaning products. Coordinate the in-house Pest Control Services. Monitor all IMTE (Inspection, Measuring and Testing equipment for calibration. Review all final product specifications.
