<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Civil Engineer, Technician or Technologist with a minimum of 20 years&rsquo; experience.</li><li>SACPCMP qualification and ECSA registration would be advantageous.</li><li>Proven experience in construction monitoring and site supervision of contract work involving civil, structural and mechanical interfaces, including at least one contract related to large diameter welded steel pipelines.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Quick learner with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.</li><li>Possession of a valid driver&rsquo;s licence and own vehicle is essential, with a willingness to travel as required.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Project as a minimum).</li><li>Candidate will be based in Thabazimbi or Lephalale.</li></ul><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>General project management.</li><li>Contract administration and/or assistance.</li><li>Monitoring and reporting on the contractor&rsquo;s programme and financial expenditure.</li><li>Ensuring implementation of the engineer&rsquo;s quality monitoring plan and overseeing the contractor&rsquo;s quality control plan.</li><li>Conducting site audits, inspections, quality control testing, and the approval or rejection of work.</li><li>Measurement and certification of completed work, including cash flow forecasting.</li><li>Facilitating regular site meetings with the contractor, employer and engineer, and maintaining accurate minutes.</li><li>Issuing site instructions, variation orders, drawings, and other relevant documentation.</li><li>Compiling reports and as-built data in accordance with the employer&rsquo;s standard requirements.</li></ul>
