About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for managing the inventory of our automotive parts distribution centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and optimize stock counts
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse management processes
- Develop and implement data structure processes to improve efficiency
- Supervise staff and ensure effective staff management
- Conduct regular stock audits and count
- Collaborate with the operational team to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Inventory Manager in a large Distribution Centre within the Automotive Aftermarket Parts Industry
- Qualification in Inventory or Supply Chain Management or similar
- Strong Inventory Process Management knowledge at an expert level
- Operational Management experience (advantageous)
- Good knowledge of Warehouse Systems and Aftermarket Parts exposure
- Extensive Warehouse Management and Data Structure Processes experience
- Skilled at Inventory Management, Stock Counting and Planning, and Staff Management
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification in a relevant field (if applicable)
