About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Stores Manager to join our Luxury Hospitality Group, based in Dar es Salaam and Arusha. As the lead of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day activities, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
  • Monitor stock movements, authorize reorders, and conduct regular physical stock counts and audits.
  • Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
  • Ensure the central stores area is organized effectively to support efficient workflow, material handling, and dispatch operations.
  • Manage, train, and mentor warehouse personnel and storekeepers.
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and oversee daily shift scheduling.
  • Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, security policies, and company operating procedures within the warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar supervisory supply chain role
  • Proficiency in utilizing Materials Control and/or store stock systems
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
