About the Role
A leading Manufacturer & Supplier in the Agricultural industry seeks a highly reliable and computer-literate Night Monitoring Officer to monitor and oversee its facilities during night operations. The ideal candidate will ensure continuous monitoring of site operations, systems, and security protocols while maintaining accurate reporting and immediate escalation of incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor facility areas, entrances, and restricted zones.
- Monitor operational systems, cameras, software platforms, and digital records.
- Record and report incidents, hazards, and operational irregularities.
- Review previous day’s activity and backtrack logs to identify potential risks or irregularities.
- Maintain accurate monitoring logs and handover reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures.
- Perform basic system checks, file management, and data backups.
- Provide updates on operational activity and system status.
- Monitor multiple factory camera systems and operational platforms.
- Flag discrepancies, incorrect practices, theft risks, and maintenance issues.
- Prepare monitoring feedback reports and escalate findings where required.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and operational issues.
- Maintain full vigilance throughout the shift.
Requirements
Minimum Matric / Grade 12. Diploma / Certificate / tertiary education in related field advantageous. 1–3 Years’ experience in monitoring, operations, or similar role advantageous. Previous experience in monitoring, control room, security, or operations preferred. Strong computer literacy and confidence working with multiple systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience in digital recordkeeping, reporting, and file management.
