About the Role
Leruo Group is seeking experienced Bricklayers to join our team in Johannesburg. We urgently need skilled professionals to contribute to the construction of residential and commercial buildings, focusing on precision work and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build foundations, walls, chimneys, partitions, and patios using brick, concrete block, or stone
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine layout and material requirements
- Mix mortar, cement, and plaster, and apply them using trowels
- Cut, shape, and trim bricks or blocks using specialized tools like brick-cutting machines
- Restore, clean, and repair existing masonry structures, including relining furnaces or boilers with specialized firebricks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, often working at heights
