About the Role
Leruo Group is seeking skilled Bricklayers to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our structural construction team, you will be responsible for building foundations, walls, chimneys, partitions, and patios using brick, concrete block, or stone.
Key Responsibilities
- Build foundations, walls, chimneys, partitions, and patios using brick, concrete block, or stone
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine layout and material requirements
- Mix mortar, cement, and plaster, and apply them using trowels
- Cut, shape, and trim bricks or blocks using specialized tools like brick-cutting machines
- Restore, clean, and repair existing masonry structures, including relining furnaces or boilers with specialized firebricks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, often working at heights
