Our client has an opportunity available for a Drawing Office Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or tertiary qualification as a Draughtsperson.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in the boiler, structural and high-pressure piping design and construction environment.
• 3D scanning, registration, modelling and simulation.
• Advanced experience in software associated with CAD, 3D scanning, 3D modelling. 3D simulations and 2D fabrication drawings within the boiler generation industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk complete suite of design tools, Cadworx, Inventor, Navisworks, NX, Scene or similar software.

Responsibilities:

• Training & Development from a personal objective point of view and to ensure team growth and capability to be in line with latest technological trends.
• Quality and Accuracy of draughting and modelling.
• People Management and leadership to maintain team capability, capacity and growth/recruitment as per business requirements.
• Supporting the General Manager for Engineering in achieving the company strategy.
• Project Management to ensure drawing output performance meets the project objectives.
• Manhour estimation and structuring of the draughting portion of projects in support to the engineer’s requirements.
• Internal and External Customer Relationship Management.
