About the Role
Join EQ-FIN as a Financial Advisor and shape your future, empowering others in Johannesburg. We are an outsourced assurance management company representing Liberty Group Ltd and STANLIB in the South African financial services industry. Our mission is to be the first choice for clients and financial advisors in South Africa, aspiring to become the largest tied independent insurance distribution company in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning services
- Advise clients on investments, retirement planning, and other financial products
- Develop tailored financial plans for clients
- Maintain ongoing client relationships to help them meet their financial goals
Requirements
- Wealth planning and financial advisory skills (training will be provided)
- Minimum 2 years work experience essential
- Knowledge of finance, investments, and retirement planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Relevant industry qualifications such as CFP or FAIS an advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field an advantage
Qualifications
- Formal training will be provided through our best-of-breed Academy, Liberty, or other registered Educational Institutions
- Completion of prescribed regulatory exams and accreditation with the Financial Services Regulatory authority with our assistance
- Continuous professional development to earn CPD points throughout the learning journey
