About the Role
playTSOGO is seeking a skilled Front-End & CMS Specialist to join their team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the front-end development team, you will play a crucial role in building fast, accessible, and engaging digital experiences that meet the needs of their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop and customize AEM components and templates to support enterprise content workflows.
- Ensure seamless performance across devices through responsive design best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve front-end issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Participate in peer reviews to maintain high coding standards.
- Document technical processes and contribute to project planning.
- Support backend integration tasks using Node.js and Express.js.
Requirements
- Matric or national Diploma in Software Development or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in front-end and AEM development.
- Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-level web solutions.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, UI/UX principles, and responsive design.
- Experience with Webflow and modern web tools.
