About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of HR to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle HR, with a proven track record of managing large workforces and driving successful IR initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in the automotive or retail industry, this individual will be responsible for leading our HR function and ensuring compliance with employment equity principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a workforce of no less than 1K blue collar workers
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies
- Lead IR initiatives to ensure fair labor practices and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with senior management to drive business objectives
- Oversee employee relations, talent acquisition, and employee engagement
Requirements
- Completed honours degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Min 15 years full function HR experience
- Proven IR skills with a strong understanding of employment equity principles
- Experience managing a workforce of no less than 1K blue collar workers
- Automotive and/or retail industry experience is highly desirable

Salary & Benefits
Remuneration: R1.6M – R2M C.T.C. per annum (excluding bonus)
