Our client has an EE opportunity available for an Information Security Analyst based in Selby.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience within either an information security position or in cybersecurity.
- 2 years IT administration experience.
- 2 years ethical hacking experience.
- Knowledge of:
- Cloud security platforms.
- Firewalls and malicious code defense.
- Cybersecurity technical assignments, standards, tools and processes.
- Common attack vendors.
- Vulnerability assessment tools.
- Endpoint and network security tools or techniques.
- Bachelors degree in information security or a similar field.
- Industry certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Support technology transformation and innovation in your area of responsibility.
- Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity road maps and interventions.
- Create and maintain appropriate standard operating procedures for cyber security and information protection.
- Support analysis and planning activities.
- Identify, respond, predict and analyze security breaches and threats to determine their root cause.
- Research, investigate and develop proficiencies in current and emerging threats.
- Play an active role in technology security planning sessions.
- Establish plans and protocols to protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access.
- Support the design for your area of responsibility.
- Work closely with other stakeholders to design, consult and implement security solutions to ensure readiness for security technologies.
- Draft procedures and policies with regards to cybersecurity.
- Monitor and analyze cybersecurity operational services.
- Identify and resolve vulnerabilities in networks, servers etc.
- Support with managing vendor resource deliverables to ensure service consistency.
- Conduct risk and quality management within your area of responsibility.
- Drive compliance regarding information security business continuity planning.
- Be the point of contact that interface between vendors and business units.
- Conduct technical security reviews and perform technical risk assessments.
