About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the logistics industry is urgently seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join their team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of inventory, providing leadership and guidance to the team, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Responsibility: Monitor and manage inventory levels, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Operational (Inventory Control, and Replenishment): Implement effective inventory control systems, manage stock levels, and optimize replenishment processes.
- People Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve operational goals.
- Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory assets, track their movement, and ensure proper maintenance.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to stakeholders on inventory levels, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, including supply chain disruptions and inventory management issues.
Requirements
- Grade 12 is compulsory with a Relevant Tertiary Degree or Supply Chain Management.
- Good Warehousing and distribution, Transport, FMCG, and QRS Management experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Advanced (WMS) Skills, and GP skills.
- 7 – 10 Years experience required in Inventory Management within a Warehousing Distribution Industry, QSR, and FMCG environment.
- 5 Years of Stock Management Experience.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: R500k/yr to R600k/yr, negotiable. Training & Development, Family Leave are offered as part of the benefits package.
