About the Role
RedCat Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join our client’s team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, project management, and coordination, ensuring customer engagements are well-structured, deliverable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily collaboration with teams based in Europe
- Interaction with customers, cross-functional delivery teams, and engineering resources
- Technical oversight (network engineering background)
- Service delivery ownership and coordination
- Service presales and opportunity support
- Financial and commercial accountability
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant qualification/s
- 58 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in Service Delivery, Project Management, or Service Coordination roles
- Previous hands-on experience as a Network Engineer (essential)
- Strong understanding of network lifecycle (design, deployment, migration, validation), optical transport / networking environments (DWDM, L0/L1, etc)
