About the Role
The Junior Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through research, strategy development, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for technology innovation and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Research: Delivering research presentations to the Executive team on digital communication trends in specific industries.
- Presenting to and consulting with the National Business Development Director on business trends to develop new markets and distribution channels.
- Identifying business sales channels, unique selling propositions, and differentiators.
- Following up on leads, generating own leads through industry knowledge, cold calling, referrals, and tenders.
- Networking via industry conferences, client conferences, online platforms, and research groups.
- Pitching to clients and prospective clients.
- Creating client-specific presentations in PowerPoint.
- Writing proposals, Scope or Works, SLA agreements, and Business plans.
- Winning tenders.
- Attending weekly update meetings with the wider Business Development team.
- Managing revenue and opportunity trackers on a weekly basis.
- Holding Handover and New Solutions Briefs with all relevant departments.
Requirements
- Matric or Diploma/Degree preferred.
- Digital Communication industry knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to perform duties unsupervised.
- Personal organisation skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Project planning skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
