About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial controls, overseeing basic IT requirements, and handling HR administration for a small business with multiple branches nationwide. Key Responsibilities
- Managing financial controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Overseeing basic IT requirements and implementing efficient systems
- Handling HR administration for a small business with multiple branches (nationwide) and fewer than 100 employees
- Creating and managing financial reports and forecasts
- Assisting the CEO in managing assets and mitigating risks
- Contributing effectively as part of a small management team
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth
Requirements
- Minimum tertiary qualification in Finance and Accounting (BComm)
- Solid understanding of tax and foreign exchange (forex)
- Minimum of five (5) years post-degree experience, including:
- Managing a Finance department
- Overseeing basic IT requirements
- Handling basic HR administration for a small business with multiple branches
Qualifications
- Syspro (Accounting package) advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Competence in Email/Internet usage
- Experience with Business Banking through one of the major banks
