About the Role

Our client in the Manufacturing sector is currently looking to employ a Key Account Manager to join their team based in Isando, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining executive-level relationships with National Key Accounts (100+ fleet) and driving incremental Key Account sales growth and penetration.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and maintain executive-level relationships with National Key Accounts (100+ fleet).
Lead national-level sales negotiations and long-term supply agreements.
Develop and implement structured account and growth strategies.
Drive incremental Key Account sales growth and penetration.
Develop tailored Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and lifecycle proposals.
Collaborate with dealers and RSMs to align Key Account activities with dealer operations.
Manage customer segmentation and allocation of Key Account targets across the network.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and key opportunities.
Provide market and competitor feedback to support strategic decision-making.
Conduct regular performance review meetings with dealers and stakeholders.
Achieve annual National Key Account targets and deliver documented growth strategies.
Maintain clear client ownership and strengthen relationships with national fleet operators.

Requirements

Minimum 57 years of B2B sales or key account management experience in commercial vehicles, logistics, or a related sector.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or equivalent.
Code 8 license and willing to travel.
Read and write in English.
