About the Role
Our client in the Manufacturing sector is currently looking to employ a Key Account Manager to join their team based in Isando, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining executive-level relationships with National Key Accounts (100+ fleet) and driving incremental Key Account sales growth and penetration.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain executive-level relationships with National Key Accounts (100+ fleet).
- Lead national-level sales negotiations and long-term supply agreements.
- Develop and implement structured account and growth strategies.
- Drive incremental Key Account sales growth and penetration.
- Develop tailored Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and lifecycle proposals.
- Collaborate with dealers and RSMs to align Key Account activities with dealer operations.
- Manage customer segmentation and allocation of Key Account targets across the network.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and key opportunities.
- Provide market and competitor feedback to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings with dealers and stakeholders.
- Achieve annual National Key Account targets and deliver documented growth strategies.
- Maintain clear client ownership and strengthen relationships with national fleet operators.
Requirements
- Minimum 57 years of B2B sales or key account management experience in commercial vehicles, logistics, or a related sector.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or equivalent.
- Code 8 license and willing to travel.
- Read and write in English.
