About the Role

Play a critical role at the intersection of law, governance, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to influence decision-making and safeguard a dynamic, multi-entity business. The Legal and Compliance Officer will support business operations by managing legal risk, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing commercially sound legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage legal advisory and compliance oversight across a diverse group structure
  • Engage with executive leadership, manage contracts and litigation processes
  • Drive compliance with key legislation including corporate, financial, and gaming regulations
  • Provide governance support, lease management, trust administration, and insurer liaison
  • Conduct legal research and provide insights on regulatory changes

Requirements

  • LLB degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in legal advisory or compliance roles
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, company law, and regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of gambling law, insurance law, and financial services regulation
  • Familiarity with pension fund and trust legislation
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and stakeholder engagement skills
