About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and intelligent South African qualified LLB attorney to join a modern Texas-based firm for a unique strategic role. The successful candidate will be part of a cutting-edge law firm that leverages AI technology to deliver innovative legal solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a next-generation legal strategy function within an AI-enabled law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and analyzing complex legal issues
- Preparing strategic memoranda and participating in client interactions
- Collaborating with US attorneys on active family law and estate matters
- Developing knowledge in Texas Family Law, Divorce and custody strategy, Trusts and estates, and AI-assisted legal research
- Steadily developing long-term strategic approaches to complex legal matters
Requirements
- Qualified LLB attorney (South African or international equivalent)
- 5 – 15 years of experience in law practice, academia, or lecturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Texas Family Law and estate planning

- Formal education in law (LLB or equivalent)
