Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Global Market Analysis: Proactively monitor and analyze global aviation market trends, with a specific focus on fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, tracking supply, demand, pricing movements, and emerging opportunities. Aircraft Sales Intelligence: Identify and track aircraft and helicopters for sale globally (new and pre-owned), meticulously recording specifications, pricing, location, seller/broker details, and transactional status. Database Development & Management: Build, structure, and maintain a comprehensive global database of aircraft and helicopters. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through rigorous verification and regular updates. Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor listings, brokerage activity, and OEM production rates to provide a complete market picture. Reporting & Insights: Prepare clear, concise, and actionable intelligence reports, dashboards, and summaries for management and the sales team. Your analysis will highlight trends, opportunities, and risks within the aviation market. Platform Management: Utilize industry-leading aviation databases and platforms (e.g., JETNET, Amstat, VREF, Controller) to track global aircraft fleet data, specifications, and valuation metrics. Required Skills & Experience: Aviation Industry Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in or exposure to the aviation industry. This could include roles in aircraft/helicopter sales, brokerage, aviation platforms, charter operations, aircraft management, or other related services. Strong Research & Analytical Skills: A proven ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex information from various sources. Data Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, with an ability to organize and manage large volumes of data logically and efficiently. Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy are paramount. Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, professional reports. Initiative: A self-motivated and proactive individual with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Advantageous: Direct experience with aviation market intelligence platforms such as JETNET, Amstat, VREF, or Controller. In-depth knowledge of aircraft/helicopter specifications, values, and operating considerations. Previous experience in a sales support, market analysis, or business intelligence role.
