About the Role

We are seeking a senior Bar Manager to lead our upmarket Restaurant & Bar in Bryanston. The ideal candidate will have strong all-round management skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the front and back of house operations
Maintain strong knowledge of liquor cost and stock management
Reconcile bar cash up accurately
Develop and implement effective customer relations strategies
Open and close the bar during trading hours (until 2 am)
Lead and train a team to achieve exceptional results
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

8+ years of Restaurant & Bar management experience
Strong all-round management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of liquor cost and stock management
Ability to work under pressure and lead a team
Strong staff management and training skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R15 000 – R18 000 net per annum
