About the Role
As a Supervisor Accountant at Network Finance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. You will be responsible for managing daily payments, preparing management reports, and performing ad hoc reporting tasks. Your expertise in financial analysis and risk mitigation will help drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review monthly draft trial balances
- Prepare monthly management reports with insightful analysis
- Manage daily payments including preparation, loading, and release, ensuring all supporting schedules are accurate
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks affecting distribution channels through appropriate system controls
- Support preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Perform ad hoc reporting and tasks, including involvement in IFRS17 implementation
- Automate reports to create process efficiencies
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Present financial reports to executive management
- Understand and implement agreements for commission structures
Requirements
- BCom Qualification (completed articles advantageous)
- Registered with ACA or ACSA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Pastel/Sage knowledge advantageous
- 2–5 years’ experience in financial services preferred
- Knowledge of the insurance industry an added advantage
