About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for overseeing the printing operations of a leading FMCG manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management and printing experience, with a focus on quality control and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production teams to ensure efficient and high-quality print output
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize productivity
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and manage logistics
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality
- Supervise production staff, providing guidance and coaching to improve performance
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical or Related Field)
