Job Description
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to join their team in Roodepoort, Johannesburg. The Production Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are met, and leading a team of production workers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process and ensure that production targets are met
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as needed to meet demand
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and take corrective action as needed
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to ensure a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce all safety protocols
- Communicate with other departments, such as logistics and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations
- Report any production issues or concerns to management and suggest potential solutions
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a production environment, with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Knowledge of production processes and quality standards
- Experience with production planning and scheduling
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
