Johannesburg: Quality Control and Technical Lead

A fast-growing solar solutions provider is seeking a Quality Control & Technical Lead to uphold excellence across all solar installations. In this pivotal role, youll ensure every system meets compliance, safety, and performance standards while supporting the field operations team with advanced technical oversight. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on solar experience who takes pride in technical detail, customer satisfaction, and driving consistent service quality across multiple sites. Non-Negotiable Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in the solar industry Direct exposure to at least 50 completed solar installations Proven background in field service, quality control, or technical inspection Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and compliance Valid drivers license and willingness to conduct site inspections Electrician qualification or trade test (advantageous) Job Experience & Skills Required: Conduct detailed quality inspections to ensure system compliance and performance Oversee and approve remediation, health checks, and ICF assessments Provide technical support to the field service team and resolve escalations efficiently Perform pre-sales site visits and post-installation assessments Maintain accurate technical documentation and compliance reports Work closely with operations and installation teams to enhance efficiency and service delivery For more engineering jobs, please visit: 🌐
