About the Role
We are seeking a sharp and detail-driven Reservationist with strong OTA expertise to join our boutique hospitality group’s Johannesburg head office. As a live-out, office-based role, you will manage reservations and online channel activity across our luxury properties in South Africa, ensuring accurate listings, rate parity, and a seamless booking experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all reservations across the group’s properties via direct and OTA channels
- Maintain accurate listings, rates, content, and availability across all online platforms
- Monitor channel performance and flag rate parity issues or discrepancies
- Handle all guest booking enquiries, confirmations, and pre-arrival correspondence
- Process amendments, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
- Liaise with property teams to ensure smooth arrivals and accurate booking information
- Support revenue management reporting as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ reservations experience within a luxury hotel or hospitality group
- Proven experience managing OTA platforms (e.g. Apply Below, Expedia)
- Familiarity with channel manager systems and property management systems (Opera)
- Sound understanding of rate management, availability, and yield principles
- Excellent written English for guest correspondence
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office

Salary & Benefits
- CTC: R25,000 per month (negotiable)
