Johannesburg: Senior Audit Manager posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolve’s Client, a leading mid-tier audit firm based in Johannesburg, is currently seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, managing client relations, and providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead audit engagements for a portfolio of clients
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
• Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation
• Identify and communicate potential audit issues and propose solutions
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CA(SA) qualification is strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit, preferably within a professional services firm
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple engagements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
