About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Stock Controller to join our dynamic multi-site operation in Johannesburg. As a critical link among operations, finance, suppliers, and store management, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory integrity across multiple sites while supporting operational teams with stock planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement coordination, and cost control initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels across multiple stores and operational sites
- Monitor stock movements, variances, wastage, and shrinkage
- Conduct stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory investigations
- Analyse stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Manage supplier ordering processes and stock replenishment activities
- Produce detailed stock, cost, variance, and inventory reports
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory valuations
- Support forecasting, planning, and inventory optimisation initiatives
- Coordinate stock transfers between stores and operational sites
- Drive compliance with stock management procedures and controls
- Train and support operational teams on inventory best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience within: Stock Control, Inventory Management, Procurement Administration, Supply Chain Administration
- At least 2 years experience in a Senior Stock Controller or Supervisory capacity
- Strong exposure to: Hospitality Groups, Restaurant Chains, Coffee Shop Groups, FMCG Retail Operations, High-volume inventory environments
