Job Description

The Social Media Specialist plays a key role in enhancing brand presence across social platforms through compelling content, strategic engagement, influencer collaboration, and paid media support. This role bridges community management, content planning, influencer marketing, and paid performance with a focus on delivering measurable results and growing audience engagement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage content calendars tailored to each social platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) Create and publish engaging, on-brand content (static, video, stories, Reels) aligned with marketing and campaign objectives Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (creative, PR, influencer, media buying) to drive integrated campaign performance Coordinate with influencers and creators assist in sourcing, briefing, and managing deliverables aligned to brand tone and campaign KPIs Support in setting up, managing, and optimizing paid social campaigns and Google Ads campaigns in coordination with the performance team Track and analyse social media and paid performance metrics to identify trends, optimize content, and inform future strategies Monitor daily community interactions and manage real-time engagement Stay informed on platform updates, industry trends, creator economy shifts, and competitive landscape Ensure content is compliant with brand guidelines and advertising standards Requirements: Bachelors degree in marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or Equivalent. Experience: 24 years of experience in social media management, including: o Working directly with influencers (seeding, paid partnerships, UGC coordination) Running or supporting Google Ads and paid social campaigns Experience within a digital agency, media company, or brand environment preferred Skills & Competencies: Strong copywriting and visual storytelling abilities Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Later, etc.) Basic design and video editing capabilities (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite preferred) Solid understanding of influencer marketing workflows and creator relationship management Working knowledge of Google Ads and social media ad platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) Analytical mindset with ability to translate metrics into actionable insights Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
