About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deboning Manager to lead our deboning operations, ensuring maximum yield, top-quality output, and compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat deboning processing and a proven track record of achieving results-driven leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the deboning team to achieve daily production and quality targets.
  • Plan and coordinate production schedules, staffing, and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor product quality, yield, and waste implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee maintenance, hygiene, and compliance with HACCP and GMP standards.
  • Track KPIs and report on production performance.
  • Manage departmental costs, rosters, and resource planning.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence across the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a high-volume meat deboning environment.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, processing methods, hygiene, and waste control.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Production Management (or related field).
  • Experience as a Blockman or Butcher will be helpful.
