About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Showroom Sales Consultant to join our luxury homeware, decor, and finishes showroom in Umhlanga/Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth and maintain high standards of customer interaction and showroom presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored homeware solutions
- Maintain high standards of customer interaction and showroom presentation
- Adhere to established procedures while ensuring seamless operational aspects of the shop or outlet
- Coordinate regular stock takes and implement campaign strategies to drive sales growth
- Collaborate with top designers to inspire spaces and guide clients in selecting the perfect finishes, decor elements, and transformations
Requirements
- Minimum: National Senior Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Interior Design
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in a retail showroom environment
- Coordinating operational aspects of a shop or outlet is a plus
- Strong background in interior design, décor, and fabrics is highly valued
