About the Role
The Pre-Owned Operations Manager is responsible for establishing, managing, and growing the OEM’s pre-owned vehicle operations. Initially focused on professionalising and controlling the Tradeback process through an outsourced partner, the role will evolve to develop a full-fledged Pre-Owned Division, enhance resale strategies, and expand the brand’s presence in the pre-owned commercial truck market.
Key Responsibilities
- Tradeback & Partner Oversight
- Oversee trade-in vehicle processing and stock movement with an outsourced partner
- Monitor refurbishment, cost control, and wholesale pricing
- Ensure accurate reporting and competitive pricing alignment
- Pre-Owned Division Development
- Design systems and processes aligned with OEM standards
- Expand resale partner networks and define performance metrics
- Develop marketing and branding strategies for pre-owned trucks
- Division Growth & Leadership
- Transition operations into a structured in-house division
- Build and lead a dedicated team as the business scales
- Drive profitability and provide strategic input to leadership

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or similar
- 5–8 years’ experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industry (ideally pre-owned, tradeback, or fleet operations)
- Experience with outsourced partner management, dealer networks, and scaling business units
- Code 8 driver’s license required
