About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Despatch Manager to join our FMCG cold chain operation in Northern KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse, fridges, and outbound distribution activities, ensuring accurate and time-sensitive dispatch of perishable goods aligned to production and logistics schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse, fridges, and outbound distribution activities
- Ensure accurate and time-sensitive dispatch of perishable goods
- Align dispatch activities with production and logistics schedules
- Manage large teams (100+ staff) and provide strong leadership
- Implement effective stock control and inventory management systems
- Utilize ERP/WMS systems (SAP / Mosaic / Similar)
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel reports
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or Warehouse Management (advantageous)
- 58+ years of FMCG warehouse/dispatch experience
- 3+ years of experience managing large teams (100+ staff) (advantageous)
