About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Junior Field Guide to join a well-established Luxury Safari Lodge operating within the Hospitality, Eco Tourism, and Wildlife Conservation industry in South Africa. This role is ideal for an entry-level Guide who is passionate about wildlife, guest engagement, and developing a long-term career in safari guiding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily guiding operations
- Deliver engaging, educational, and safe safari experiences for local and international guests
- Provide hand-on exposure to professional safari hospitality, field guiding standards, and wildlife interpretation
- Work alongside experienced senior guides in a live-in lodge environment
Requirements
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF2) qualification as a professional Guide
- Valid First Aid certification
- Valid Drivers Licence with PDP
- DEAT registration
- NDT registration
- Advanced 4×4 driving qualification
- Strong communication skills with confident guest hosting ability
- Neat and professional appearance and well-spoken demeanour
