Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Sous Chef Luxury Lodge – Limpopo Requirements Matric Minimum of 3-5 years previous Sous chef experience in a 5-star lodge/hotel Food Hygiene and professional cooking qualification Must be extremely creative and hardworking, and oversee the culinary operations of the lodge Good knowledge of wines and pairing Menu compilation and implementation, food preparation and kitchen management Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Ability to lead and train the kitchen team to produce menus and food items with attention to detail, and high standards of presentation whilst maintaining health and safety regulations In depth understanding of food trends and have a passion for innovative cuisine Ability to collaborate with other departments to create memorable dining experiences for a la carte guests, including special events, conferences and themed dinners Knowledge of all dietary and religious requirements Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control Good knowledge of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration Must have a food profile Package on offer R 18 000 R 25 000 pm DOE Live in Start date: ASAP
