About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC programs in a cement mine environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider)
- Maintain and upgrade PLC, SCADA, and automation systems
- Develop and test logic diagrams, HMI screens, and control strategies
- Provide technical support during commissioning, shutdowns, and process changes
- Troubleshoot control system failures and instrumentation issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation / Control, or Mechatronics (or similar)
- 37 years of experience in PLC programming & industrial automation
- Strong knowledge of PLC / DCS / SCADA systems
- Experience with industrial communication networks
- Cement or heavy industry experience is advantageous
