About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team, with a strong background in financial management, cost accounting, and operational finance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing audits, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, with experience in agriculture, fresh produce, packhouse, or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Oversee cost accounting and operational finance to optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Conduct audits and manage statutory compliance
- Develop and implement financial models and forecasts
- Provide expertise on tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and SARS submissions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Professional qualification advantageous (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 58 years of experience in a Financial Management role
- Experience within agriculture, fresh produce, packhouse, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and operational finance
