About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts or hospitality management and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain high-quality kitchen practices
- Lead the team to achieve exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
- Maintain accurate records of kitchen performance, including financial reports and inventory management
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or similar role (preferably in a boutique hotel or luxury environment)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
