About the Role
As a SAP Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting SAP EWM operations and providing expert guidance on business requirements. Your primary function will be to prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents, propose solutions to improve support of new business processes, and provide business case input on benefits and risks. You will also execute and/or support testing activities, analyze end-user authorisation roles, and prepare user manuals for training.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and document business requirements for SAP EWM operations
- Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents and obtain sign-off from users
- Propose solutions to improve support of new business processes
- Provide business case input on benefits and risks
- Prepare test data for testing of user stories
- Execute and/or support unit testing, system integration tests, regression testing, user acceptance testing, security testing
- Analyse and scope end-user authorisation roles
- Prepare User Manuals and conduct training to business process owners
- Prepare cut-over strategy, including data migration
- Go-Live preparation and post Go-Live Support
- Manage changes and present to relevant CAB
- Interact with clients through meetings, calls, and emails
- Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving, and closing operational and maintenance tickets within SLAs
- Development debugging
- Interact with consultants of other modules
- Update and maintain documentation as systems functionality is changed
Requirements
- 7-9 years of DevOps (Operations, configuration/development) experience in commercial/and/or retail end user IT applications
- Relevant SAP Functional Certification (EWM)
