About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer (SAP) to join our team in Menlyn. As an SAP expert, you will be responsible for taking over operations activities in a SAP environment, providing general assistance to the Operations team and end-users, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. If you have a strong understanding of finance, accounting, and operations processes, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take over operations activities in an SAP environment (Treasury, Banking, Cash Management, In-House Cash, Multi-Banking-Connectivity)
  • Work rotation spans over morning, evening, and weekend shifts, also on public holidays
  • Provide general assistance to the Operations team and end-users
  • Adhere to the PIC processes (Problem, Incident & Change Management)
  • Perform daily operations tasks and end user support
  • Creation of pertinent test documentation
  • Enable end user knowledge transfer and training
  • Work closely with other functional consultants, developers, product owners and various global stakeholders in a bigger feature team
  • Back-out Planning Business Continuity Management (BCM)
  • Change Management (CM)
  • Cut-over Planning Fall-back Planning Incident Management (IM)
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) OPS Advanced Training OPS Basic Training Problem Management (PM)
  • Release Planning Start Up Management (SUM) System Monitoring Technical Continuity Management (TCM)

Requirements

  • Finance/Accounting understanding to assist with problem resolution
  • Understanding of operations processes
  • Informatics understanding to resolve problems related to data flow between various systems & middleware
  • Capability to improve on current processes where required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work weekends and after hours in a shift schedule
