About the Role
The Menlyn: SAP Functional Consultant (Expert) role is a critical position that requires a seasoned expert in SAP EWM to provide end-to-end support, analyze business requirements, and implement improvements to business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end SAP EWM support, including operations and maintenance
- Gather and analyse business requirements; produce AS-IS and TO-BE documentation
- Facilitate sign-off of functional and technical design documents
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to business processes
- Contribute to business case development, including benefits and risk analysis
- Prepare test data and execute/support testing activities: Unit testing, System integration testing, Regression and UAT, Security testing
- Analyse and define end-user authorisation roles
- Develop user manuals and deliver training to business stakeholders
- Prepare and execute cut-over strategies, including data migration
- Support Go-Live and post Go-Live activities
- Manage changes and present to Change Advisory Boards (CAB)
- Handle operational tickets within SLA: Troubleshooting, resolving, and closing incidents
- Perform development debugging and issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP module teams
- Maintain and update system documentation
- Drive continuous improvement in design and development processes
- Work within an Agile framework, participating in: Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, Sprint reviews and retrospectives, Maintaining updates within the Agile tool chain
Requirements
- Strong functional and configuration experience in SAP EWM
- SAP WM (Warehouse Management) experience
- Proven experience within Logistics and Supply Chain environments
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to move concepts through to implementation
- Flexible and adaptable approach to project demands and changing priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
