About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in Midrand, South Africa. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective marketing materials, as well as assisting with website updates and social media content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop marketing material including: Posters Flyers Catalogues and booklets In-store promotional material Social media graphics Email marketing visuals
- Assist with updating website banners, product images, and promotional content.
- Create and edit multimedia content including short videos, animations, and digital adverts.
- Develop AI-assisted creative concepts and designs using modern design tools and platforms.
- Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and current retail campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to execute promotional campaigns.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital publishing.
- Stay updated with current fashion, retail, and design trends.
- Assist with photography editing and content preparation when required.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 12 years experience in graphic design or a similar role (retail experience advantageous).
- Portfolio of previous design work.
- Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Canva or similar design platforms Video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects or similar).
- Basic understanding of website content management and updates.
