About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical Consulting Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key technical advisor, you will play a crucial role in turning complex challenges into safe, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Strategy: Develop detailed blueprints and technical specifications
- Client Advisory: Meet with stakeholders to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local standards and safety codes
- Site Oversight: Conduct site inspections and provide on-site technical troubleshooting
- Report Writing: Create feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and cost estimates
Requirements
- Education: B.Eng or B.Sc
- Licensing: Professional Registration preferred
- Experience: 5 years in a consulting or project-based environment
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, or MATLAB
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-engineers
