About the Role
A skilled Payroll Administrator is required to join a dynamic team in Midrand, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for a temporary opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end payroll administration
- Processing new hires, terminations, and employee record updates (banking, IDs, etc.)
- Managing maternity leave, calculations, and UI19 forms
- Handling payroll deductions (garnishees, staff debts, etc.)
- Processing expense claims via payroll
- Reconciling payment reports and remuneration lists
- Responding to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and payroll legislation
- Maintaining confidentiality and contributing to team effectiveness
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in a payroll environment
NQF 4 (Matric / Adult Senior Certificate)
Payroll Diploma is a plus
Qualified SAGE 300 People Payroll Administrator
Advanced Excel skills, especially VLOOKUP
Solid understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act & Labour Relations Act
