Hire Resolve has partnered with a leading Mining House based in North West who is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team of dynamic professionals. Responsibilities
- Financial processing & reporting
- Operation cost control & allocation
- Preparing operational cost budgets
- Cost reporting for operations
- Asset register control
- Operation purchasing & pricing control
- Month end processes
- Work close with operations management and staff
- Support to plant management and Financial Department
- Stock Management
- Implementation and control of spare inventory management system
- Manage inventory
- Ensure that Stock levels are adequate
- Manage, control and organise inventory counts
- Stock value control
- General Housekeeping of warehouses
- Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff members
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric with accounting as a subject
- Degree in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting
- Post graduate qualification may be advantageous
- 5 – 8 Years working experience in a similar field
- Experience in cost management
- Experience in spares inventory control
- Must be an action orientated person
Benefits
- Salary: R600K/yr – R720K/yr, negotiable
