About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesman to join our team in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. As an Automotive Parts Salesman, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products, while providing excellent customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable automotive parts
- Provide accurate product information (specifications, features, and benefits)
- Process sales orders and ensure correct parts selection and timely fulfilment
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and stock control
- Handle customer queries and provide professional after-sales support
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Collect payments and ensure compliance with company policies
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Salesperson (auto parts industry a must)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
